Employment and Training Services

Schoke Jewish Family Service provides comprehensive employment and training services to individuals who are unemployed, displaced, or looking to improve or change their jobs. By empowering clients with knowledge, tools, skills, and access to resources to become “job ready,” Schoke JFS enables clients to find gainful employment. Clients may also access additional Schoke JFS programs and services as needed.

How We Help

Schoke JFS will provide the following services, depending on program qualifications, individual needs, and available resources:

  • Basic Job Readiness Skills – Assessments, Identifying Objectives and Resume Preparation
  • Job Search Skills – Networking, Interviews and Job Research, Job Development
  • Referrals to Prospective Employers and Placement
  • Specific Skills Training – Computer, Residential Cleaning, Home Companion Training and External Referrals
  • Support Services, – Referrals and Education about Community Resources as Needed
