Jewish summer camp is more than just a fun-filled experience—it plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s lifelong connection to Judaism. Immersed in a vibrant Jewish environment, campers build meaningful relationships, engage in rich traditions, and develop a deep sense of belonging to the Jewish community. Studies have shown that children who attend Jewish summer camp are more likely to maintain Jewish traditions, engage in Jewish communal life, and pass on their heritage to future generations. However, for many families in our area, the opportunity to attend summer camp remains out of reach.

The Joan and Ben Zinbarg Camp Scholarship Program was established to make summer camp a reality. Financial assistance is available for eligible families living in Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Norwalk, Westport, Wilton, Ridgefield, Redding, Weston, Fairfield, Bridgeport, Easton, Monroe, Trumbull and Stratford who are looking for rewarding Jewish summer experiences for their children.
