Schoke Jewish Family Service Home Companion Program provides at-home support services for people with Dementia, Hearing and Visual impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Heart Attack and Stroke. Schoke JFS can also provide hospice support as well as respite for immediate family caregivers.
All aides are required to complete a seven week training course, developed by a licensed social worker, and receive certification. All companions’ references are checked, including a criminal background check and a satisfactory health screening.
The Home Companion Program is a training and referral service providing affordable, dependable, and friendly caregivers for families needing help.
Home Companion provides customized support allowing our clients to remain in the independent living situation most comfortable for them. Carefully screened and trained caregivers help your loved ones feel safe and cared for.
