Leave a Lasting Legacy

Charitable IRA Rollovers

If you are 70 ½ or older, you can contribute up to $108,000 from a traditional IRA to Schoke JFS without being subject to federal income taxes on the distribution. The gift must be made directly from the custodian of your IRA to Schoke JFS. Your rollover gift will be excluded from your gross income, and it counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD).

Donor-Advised Funds

Your gift through a donor-advised fund (DAF) provides you with a centralized charitable giving vehicle allowing an immediate tax deduction as well as the ability to recommend grants from the fund over time. It allows philanthropically inclined individuals, families, and corporations to make an irrevocable charitable gift to Schoke JFS and other public charities. Schoke JFS’s EIN or TAX ID Number is 06-1130830

Gifts of Appreciated Stock

When you make a gift of appreciated stock your gift amount is the current market value of that stock (as determined by IRS rules), and you avoid capital gains tax when the stock is transferred directly to Schoke JFS. For more information about these plans, and the other ways of supporting Schoke JFS.

Gifts of Real Estate

Donating your land or home to Schoke JFS may allow you to circumvent the significant capital gains taxes involved in selling or handing down real estate and turn your most important investment into a highly valued charitable gift.
