Individual and Family Counseling
Schoke Jewish Family Service’s Counseling Program helps people deal with behavioral and interpersonal difficulties, such as loss of a loved one, depression, anxiety, relationship conflicts, ADHD, divorce, and the stress of everyday life. With the help of skilled therapists, Schoke Jewish Family Service provides treatment with the benefits of an accredited family agency. The counseling department is comprised of a variety of licensed professionals, highly trained in individual, couples, family and child treatment, offering a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Psychiatric services for evaluation and medication management.

We accept all major insurance plans and credit cards. Sliding scale fees are available based on income. No one is turned away for their inability to pay.











Meet The Clinical Team at SJFS






Dr. Toby Lazarus graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University. She went on to receive her Ph.D. from The University of Chicago, where she specialized in neuropsychology. Currently, she is the Director of the Brain Fitness Program at Schoke Jewish Family Services in Stamford, CT. This program creates engaging, interactive sessions in which we discuss a variety of cognitive areas and how they relate to the brain. Tips for improvement and gameplay help build a community that looks forward to new classes each session.
